The Extraordinary Individuals Holiday Parade

December 3nd, 2023
Sunday League Park (by the Railroad Tracks)

The League City Proud Organization is excited to announce a 4th parade for the 26th Annual Holiday in The Park! We are celebrating inclusivity with the first Extraordinary Individuals Holiday Parade. Our committee has asked the Bay Area League of Extraordinary Lions to lead the parade celebrating the special abilities of all our friends! They believe that no one is disabled but extraordinarily abled and we are happy to have them partnering with us for this parade starting at the basketball courts walking along the closed-off railroad street to the gazebo and back to the kid-zone where the Lions have a gingerbread bounce house! Friends and vendors will be passing out treats along the way and the Lions will be leading a holiday-sing-along. The League City Proud Organization welcomes strollers, bicycles, wagons, wheelchairs, walkers, and any other assisted devices in the parade. We encourage everyone to decorate and be festive for this all ages and abilities parade. We do ask any parents or care givers to walk alongside our special friends. For more information send us a message, visit the Lions website at www.leagueofextaordinarylions.org or send an email to extraordinarylions@gmail.com.
